The reason to take an Alaskan Photo Safari rather than a short scenic flight tour is that after an hour of shooting images from the airplane you yearn to be down there getting those amazing closeup shots. In summer I spend more time sitting in the cockpit that I do any other single place in my day, and I love the view. But getting out and walking around you feel the immensity of the landscape towering over you. Both feelings are a once in a lifetime adventure. (unless you go twice)
