Fall colors are notorious for only lasting a few days here because of the strong winds off the mountains. So when fall colors do happen, usually the first week of September it's time to get them right away they may be gone tomorrow. That's what flying an Alaskan Photo Safari is about, strike while the conditions are right. And remember too, bad weather can make a great photograph you just might have to work a little harder at it.
