I suspect part of the reason that people take pictures of themselves in these amazing settings is to prove to their friends they were there and didn't just buy a postcard. On these Alaska Photo Safaris I feel their sense of amazement and that makes my day all that much better. Years ago, that shared joy was one of the deciding factors that kept me from going "up" to the airline jobs.
