Again, at Brooks Camp in Katmai National Park, people are so focused on bears that I've seen them walk right past simply beautiful shots in their haste to check off the bear from their list. This lynx sat for at least 10 minutes while I shot several different cameras and switched lens, all at a distance of about 20 feet. Finally something got her curiosity and off she went. It was the only time in 10 years of flying to Brooks that I've ever seen the lynx.
