The most amazing Moose spectacle I have ever witnessed wasn't actually this shoving match between two bull moose, but what happened before it. The largest bull came out of the woods, dug a pit, put his scent in it, splashed his antlers in it, and walked off again. Within seconds cow moose came running and waded into his muddy pit, calling with the loudest plaintive voice I've ever heard in the woods. It was truly a unique moment for me.
