These Buffalo are keeping warm in a hot spring in Yellowstone National Park. Again bad weather made for a great photo. Rather than see them out on a clear sunny day, the fog from the hot springs added an element of story and mystery to these ancient animals. Of course I can't help but be saddened by remembering the hundreds of thousands that were slaughtered by the white man moving west. Saddened and humbled.
